Three Michigan Cities Among the Best to Start a Business
Southfield, Dearborn and Holland were ranked in the top 100 (out of over 1200 ranked) cities to start a business in by WalletHub, Inc. The report reinforces what many have known for a while; that Michigan is growing in popularity with entrepreneurs. The report uses statistics on many factors including: Access to financing, good pool of trained workers, cheap office space, lowest labor costs, longest work week, number of businesses per capita and other factors. Look for other cities in Michigan to show up on this list in the near future, as Detroit rebounds.

Holland has been named the best small city to start a business, according to a new study from WalletHub.
The study ranked small cities from across the country based on business environment, access to resources and business costs.
Holland is about 28 miles southwest of Grand Rapids and was selected out of more than 1,200 small-sized cities that were analyzed by WalletHub.
The cities ranked behind Holland are Carbondale, IL, Springville, UT and East Chicago, IN.
As for cities in the Great Lakes State: Kentwood came in at #52, Dearborn at #59 and Southfield at #89.
Kentwood ranked number one for cheapest office spaces.
