Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how BizTech Management LLC ("BizTechMgt," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information about you when you use our Service or visit our website. This policy applies to information we collect from Customers, Customer end-users, and visitors to biztechmgt.com.
The 30-second summary: We collect what we need to operate the Service. We never sell it. We never share it with marketing partners. We never train AI models on it. You can export everything we have on you at any time. You can delete it on request. We are based in Michigan, USA, and host all data in the United States.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account information
When you create an account, we collect: name, email address, organization name, phone number (optional), billing address, and payment method information. Payment card numbers are processed by Stripe and never stored on our systems.
1.2 Customer Content
Information you upload to your website: page content, images, donor records, member directories, customer information, email lists, form submissions, and similar materials. This is yours; we are merely the host.
1.3 Usage information
We log: IP addresses, browser type and version, pages visited, features used, timestamps, and referring URLs. This information is used to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
1.4 Communications
When you contact support, request a demo, or subscribe to our newsletter, we keep records of those communications.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide the Service — host your website, process donations, deliver emails, generate reports
- Bill correctly — process subscription payments, issue invoices, prevent fraud
- Provide support — respond to your questions, troubleshoot issues, send service notifications
- Improve the Service — diagnose bugs, analyze aggregate usage patterns (never individual users), develop new features
- Comply with law — respond to lawful requests, prevent fraud, enforce our Terms
- Communicate with you — send transactional emails (always), send our newsletter (only if you opt in)
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Period.
We share information only with:
- Sub-processors who help us operate the Service (Hostinger for hosting, Cloudflare for edge security, Stripe for payments, Resend for email delivery, Sentry for error monitoring). The full list is on our Trust page. Each sub-processor is contractually bound to protect your data.
- Authorities when required by law, subpoena, court order, or to investigate fraud or threats to safety. We will notify you of such requests unless legally prohibited.
- Acquirers in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale — and only with your continued protection under this Privacy Policy or a substantially similar one.
4. Cookies & Tracking
We use a minimum set of cookies:
- Essential cookies — required for the Service to function (session management, security)
- Preference cookies — remember your settings (language, theme)
- Analytics cookies — first-party only, via self-hosted PostHog. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar third-party trackers on our marketing website.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent the Service from functioning.
5. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:
- Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Erasure — request deletion of your personal information ("right to be forgotten")
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Restriction — limit how we process your information
- Objection — object to certain processing activities (e.g., direct marketing)
- Withdrawal of consent — withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
California residents (CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete personal information, the right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" (we do neither), and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@biztechmgt.com. We respond within 30 days for GDPR requests, 45 days for CCPA requests.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide the Service or as required by law:

7. International Data Transfers
BizTechMgt is based in the United States and processes data in the United States. If you access our Service from outside the US (including from the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland), your information will be transferred to the United States.
For EU/EEA/UK transfers, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, supplemented by additional safeguards described in our Data Processing Addendum.
8. Children's Privacy
Our Service is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected information from a child, we will delete it promptly. Parents who believe their child has provided us information should contact privacy@biztechmgt.com.
9. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, role-based access controls, audit logging, and continuous monitoring. See our Trust page for detailed information on our security architecture.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email and posted on our website at least 30 days before taking effect.
